Ken and Greta Lindley bought the establishment from George Splitstoser about 20 years ago.
The original Turtle Club was started many years ago across the street from its present location, however there was a blaze, and the present establishment was built in its stead.
Located 10 miles north of Fairbanks in Fox, Alaska, the Turtle Club has hosted people not only locally but from all over the world.
The restaurant won the Daily News Miner Reader’s Choice award for The Best Food and Drinks in the area in 2003 and in 2004 received the awards for Best Steak/Prime Rib and Best Salad Bar.
